CIA Fire and Security Ltd support and work with a number of local charities and community based projects including:
Macmillan Cancer Support: As a cause very close to Colin, we donate a considerable amount of both time and funding to the local Macmillan team. The annual Golf Day in June, raises several thousands of pounds.
Cirencester Talking News: This fantastic group makes recordings for the blind community, providing them with up to date news and information. We provide working space at our Chesterton Lane offices for the group to record and dispatch from.
Ciren Town Football Club: CIA are proud to sponsor the 1st Team kit for the 2009-10 season.
Bingham Hall Trust: Several of the CIA team support the trust by giving their time and expertise to help maintain the legacy of Daniel Bingham. The trust owns and maintains The Bingham Hall and several properties for the use of the people of Cirencester and the surrounding areas.
Rotary Club of Great Britain and Round Table: Colin and Matthew are heavily involved in both these organisations, spending time raising money for good causes. Rotaries current focus is the ‘End Polio Now’ campaign.
Gloucestershire Crimestoppers: Due to his experience within the security industry, Colin was invited to become a board member of Gloucestershire Crimestoppers, a charity that promotes the anonymous reporting of crime to make communities safer.
Other groups we continue to support are: County Air Ambulance Charity, Cirencester Eating Disorders, Cirencester Bowling Club, Lechlade Cricket Club, Forest Green Rovers, The Bethany Appeal and The CIA Arthur Shipway and Mills-Roberts Cups.
CIA also support national charities such as Comic Relief. On Friday 18th March 2011 we raised £200 - Well done to all!
